Service Agreement

I authorize Relax & Retreat Hot Tubs (RRHT), or an independent service provider, to perform on-site equipment service and/or do repair services on my behalf. I acknowledge that my service agreement must be signed prior to service work being scheduled and no credit terms have been extended to me by RRHT.

Manufacturer Warranty Repair Policy:

Watkins (Caldera Spas) Warranty: RRHT technicians will perform warranty work on behalf of Watkins, who supplies the warranty. Customers that are outside our 20-mile service area will pay a $80-$249+ trip charge based on distance for ALL trips made to the customers’ home. If the technician determines the part/issue is not covered under the manufacturer supplied warranty the owner will be notified and will be responsible to pay for any agreed upon work done on the equipment. Also, because a non-warrantable trip was made, the customer would then agree to pay a minimum trip charge of $120, not to exceed $249 to RRHT. Any outstanding or unpaid balances will prevent future repair work from being scheduled, even if covered under the warranty, until past due invoices are paid.

Superior Wellness (Platinum Spas) Warranty: RRHT technicians will perform warranty work on behalf of Superior Wellness, who supplies the warranty. Customers that are outside our 20-mile service area will pay a $80-$249+ trip charge based on distance for ALL trips made to the customers’ home. If the technician determines the part/issue is not covered under the manufacturer supplied warranty the owner will be notified and will be responsible to pay for any agreed upon work done on the equipment. Also, because a non-warrantable trip was made, the customer would then agree to pay a minimum trip charge of $120, not to exceed $249 to RRHT. Non-Warranty Service Call:

I authorize and agree to pay the $165 service call and diagnostic fee that covers the first hour (This figure also applies to hot tub cover installations. After the first hour, it is an additional $120 per hour. I am aware the service call and diagnostic fees do not include parts. In the event I choose not to allow RRHT to complete the repair, I agree to pay for travel and diagnostic charges. (I acknowledge that a mechanics lien could be filed to secure the amount of the service call and/or diagnostic charges.)
